5 Tips To Find A Golf Fitness Instructor

I want to begin a golf specific workout program. Do you have any tips to find a qualified personal trainer? I want to improve my overall health as well as be able to improve my golf game.

We do have some helpful golf fitness tips for you. The first is do not forget to check with your doctor to make sure there are not any other complications prior to starting a new golf workout program. Other than that here are five tips that should help you find a fitness instructor that will help you achieve your goals.

1. Ask yourself if you will be more comfortable with a man or woman. It seems simple enough. You want to find someone who will listen to you but yet still push you and drive you to find new personal bests.

2. Before you begin looking around, know exactly what you want for your golf fitness. Have a set of golf fitness goals in mind, and find the trainer that will most likely fulfill those goals. Depending on your goals and your budget, you may be able to accomplish this in a class or group setting.

3. Make sure to find a personal trainer with a certification from at least one of the major national organizations, such as the American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition, a personal trainer that has been certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is very well trained on how to use golf specific exercises to improve your overall fitness and golf game.

4. Narrow your search. After you have a clear idea, and have checked with the national organizations, find interview the trainers near you. Ask them for references and talk to their past clients. Talk to the trainer themselves prior to training. Understand how you are going to achieve your goals and what it will entail from a time standpoint. Your personal trainer should set up a series of achievable goals – a certain amount of weight lost, a certain amount of repetitions, etc. – or else the workouts will start to feel meaningless, which will lead to a loss of motivation.

5. The trainer selected should have experience with golf-specific training. A golf-specific workout program emphasizes strength, flexibility, and balance and should include each of these aspects in your golf workouts. Each of these categories will not only improve your game, but also help prevent injury.

Good Luck!

Golf Fitness Flexibility Program

What should an ideal golf fitness flexibility program consist of?

1) It must offer several golf fitness program variations. A long version for regular training days and a short version for Pre-Round Stretching. A few variations with the large exercise ball should also be included (extremely important for the golfer) along with a couple of club stretches to do just before tee-off & between holes if necessary.
2) It should be thorough - addressing the head and neck all, the way down to the feet. Remember, the golf swing is a full body movement.
3) It must follow a symetrical protocol - the true key to maintaining optimal muscle/tendon/joint balance on both sides of the body. This allows for enhanced golf swing power without a large increase in swing effort. And this is also very important to chronic and acute injury prevention - and hence fitness and playing longevity.
4) It must include several key compound stretches - stretches that elongate several joint areas at the same time - mimicking natural movement patterns. Allowing the golfer to be more accurate through enhanced fitness flexibility, body awareness & control.
5) It must be realistic & easy to do for golfers at any fitness level with no equipment except for a stretching floor mat (and an exercise ball for certain stretches).
6) It must include a series of single or double joint golf stretching exercises. The effects of these stretches increase exponentially when the specific body movement requires several of these joints to move in coordination with each other (ie - the golf swing).
7) It should feel good - especially afterward. This type of stretch routine should make you feel as if your posture and your golf posture is immediately better & you should feel stronger - just because your body moves so much easier & more fluidly. You should almost feel like you could rip the cover off a ball if you were to hit one right after your golf fitness stretch routine.

7 Things That Should Be In Your Golf Fitness Program

In finding a golf fitness program for yourself, you will want to evaluate it for the following seven points:

1) The golf fitness program that you choose must offer several variations. For Example: A long version for regular training days and a short version for Pre-Round Stretching. A few variations with the large exercise ball should also be included (extremely important for the golfer) along with a couple of golf club stretches to do just before tee-off and between holes if necessary.

2) The golf fitness program should be thorough - addressing the head and neck all, the way down to the feet.

5) The golf fitness program must be realistic & easy to do for golfers at any fitness level with no equipment except for a stretching floor mat (and an exercise ball for certain stretches).

6) It must include a series of single or double joint golf stretching exercises. The effects of these stretches increase exponentially when the specific body movement requires several of these joints to move in coordination with each other (ie - the golf swing).

7) At last the golf fitness program should feel good - especially afterward. This type of stretch routine should make you feel as if your posture is immediately better & you should feel stronger - just because your body moves so much easier & more fluidly. You should almost feel like you could rip the cover off a ball if you were to hit one right after your golf fitness stretch routine.

College Golf Bag Straps

Most golfers are huge sports fans and will go to any end to support their favorite college team. Izzo Golf has allowed the golfer to bring this collegiate support to any carry bag or stand bag with the dual college strap.

The dual college strap for your carry bag or stand bag is easy to put on your shoulders with the patented rotator straps that keep the strap circumference long and accessible. It is also easy to take off as the material used to produce the golf strap is will slide off of your shoulders smoothly. In addition, the college bag strap can quickly be adjusted and is easy to adjust even while you have your golf bag on your shoulders.

Let’s face it. Walking a golf course is the best way to play the great game of golf. This method allows you to get the most exercise from your round as well as it allows you to take your time and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you on the course as well. The Izzo college bag strap allows you to do just that as the padding is anatomically contoured to your body to carry the weight of your golf stand bag more efficiently and give you more comfort while you walk. This happens because the dual strap automatically distributes the golf bag’s weight over both of your shoulders.

Izzo’s dual strap is quite the invention. Frank Thomas, Technical Director for the USGA proclaimed the IZZO Dual Strap System as the fourth greatest innovation in modern golf, right behind graphite shafts, the modern golf ball, and metal woods.

Izzo offers the collegiate dual golf bag straps from the following schools:

University of Michigan - Wolverines
Auburn University – AU Tigers War Eagle!
University of Kentucky – UK Wildcats

Penn State University – PSU Nittany Lions

Swiss Exercise Ball As A Golf Exercise Ball

A golf exercise ball, also known as a stability ball or a Swiss exercise ball, is an inflatable ball used during workouts as an alternative piece of exercise equipment. No matter what your personal goals may be at the gym, you can achieve them quickly and more efficiently substituting the Swiss exercise ball for the conventional exercise bench.

Proper Back Alignment
This piece of equipment is used in conjunction with physical rehabilitation programs to relieve back pain by strengthening and developing core body muscles. While in use, the Swiss exercise ball creates balance instability. As a result, your back will constantly maneuver itself to seek stability which will strengthen back muscles and properly align your spine.

Ultimate Abs
Because the ball requires your back muscles and abdominal muscles to work together, the exercises you would normally perform on the floor or work bench double in efficiency.

Stretching
Exercise styles such as Yoga and Pilates, focus on stretching your muscles which will, in turn, both tone and define them. Additionally, stretching your muscles will keep joints from tightening which can limit mobility at a later stage in life.

Core Stability
Core stability involves all of the muscles of the mid-section and provides you with the support necessary to properly complete activities from minor daily activities to more advanced activities.

Lose Weight and Feel Great
An added bonus to incorporating the Swiss exercise ball to your workout program is the weight loss that accompanies targeting your body’s core. When you perform exercises that strengthen your muscles, body fat is burned in the process.

The feeling of working out is replaced with a sense of play and the results are amazing. You don’t need to be an expert to perform the moves designed for the golf exercise ball which allows beginners and advanced users to enjoy the ball equally.

Off-season Golf Fitness Equipment

As it is already becoming cooler in the northeast US where I live and I am wondering which golf fitness equipment that will help me keep in golf shape this winter. Do you have any suggestions?

Even when it is off-season for golf, there is no excuse not to be working on your game. Golf fitness equipment lets you strengthen your entire body to prepare you for optimum performance on the course. Balance balls, balance discs, and medicine balls help strengthen your core muscles, which improve the strength and accuracy of your swing. Meanwhile, resistance cords and other upper body workouts increase the power and control of your shoulders, back, rotator cuffs, and hips. No matter where you choose to exercise, spending time with golf fitness equipment can have a great impact on your game once you get back on the course.

Of course, one of the best ways to achieve fitness and improve your game through golf fitness equipment is to exercise with a program specifically designed to improve the muscles and coordination through golf-specific exercises. GolfGym Powerswing Trainer is an exercise program that comes with a complete training kit and exercise guidelines specifically geared toward golf. Because which hand you use is also very important, this kit even comes in left handed or right handed versions. The guide DVD and manual offer twenty five different golf exercises that utilize all the equipment and work everything from your rotator cuffs and shoulders to your stomach, back, and hip muscles.

The core muscles are some of the most essential muscles to the game of golf, which is why so many golf fitness equipment sets focus on balance training. Balance training strengthens your core muscles all together because it requires you to use your stomach and back to maintain proper alignment. Balance balls and discs offer a variety of positions and exercises that strengthen your balance and, therefore, your core muscles, which can greatly improve the accuracy and distance your swing can achieve.

Weighted Golf Club

I am looking to improve my golf swing this winter and am interested in learning more about a weighted golf club and what the benefits would be for me.

Here are three benefits:

1. It is important that when are purchasing your weighted golf club that the golf practice aid has the same proportional weight as a regular golf club. Having the weight in proportion to a real golf club will allow the weighted golf club to react more like your real golf club. We are not talking about placing a weighted doughnut around the hosel of the club as this makes the club head end of the club extraordinarily heavy. It is fine to warm up and take a dozen swings to stretch yourself out like this however, I do not recommend using this setup as a full swing practice aid 100% of the time as using this method will not help your golf swing if used for a long period of time due to the improper weighting of the club.

2. As you might expect, a properly weighted golf club will improve your golf game by making you stronger. The extra weight of the weighted practice club will make you use more of your golf muscles than you do in your "regular swing" therefore, building your golf muscles such as your core muscles. I suggest swinging a heavy golf club both right-handed and left-handed in order to keep yourself balanced.

3. The extra weight of a weighted golf club will also stretch you more than you are used to doing in your regular golf swing. The stretching of these muscles will build a larger "range of motion." Fancy term, huh? All it means is that you will be able to turn farther back and turn farther through during your golf swing. However, the farther through that you can turn through on the forward swing the farther you will be able to hit the golf ball!

What Is A Swiss Exercise Ball

I have heard about a Swiss exercise ball. What exactly is a Swiss exercise ball and how will one help me?

If you have been to a gym you have seen a Swiss exercise ball as it is also known as a stability ball or a golf exercise ball. It is the inflatable ball used during workouts as an alternative piece of exercise equipment. No matter what your personal golf fitness goals may be at the gym, you can achieve them quickly and more efficiently substituting the Swiss exercise ball for the conventional exercise bench. Using this inflatable piece of equipment will help you get in-tune with what your body needs and can even optimize your body’s overall health.

Proper Back Alignment - The Swiss exercise ball was primarily used in physical therapy centers to promote proper back alignment. This piece of fitness equipment is used in conjunction with physical rehabilitation programs to relieve back pain by strengthening and developing core body muscles. While in use, the Swiss exercise ball creates balance instability. As a result, your back will constantly maneuver itself to seek stability which will strengthen back muscles and properly align your spine.

Ultimate Abs - Getting the perfect beach body equipped with six-pack abs is finally an achievable goal with the Swiss exercise ball. Because the ball requires your back muscles and abdominal muscles to work together, the exercises you would normally perform on the floor or work bench double in efficiency. Being that there is an element of fun while using this equipment, precise exercise moves that have been created to target this problem area become easier to complete.

Stretching - Exercise styles such as Yoga and Pilates, focus on stretching your muscles which will, in turn, both tone and define them. Using an exercise ball in conjunction with these styles will ease the muscle stretching process because utilizing the ball allows your body to move in and out of stretching positions fluidly. Additionally, stretching your muscles will keep joints from tightening which can limit mobility at a later stage in life.

Advantages To Using A Swiss Exercise Ball

As I am always struggling with my physical golf fitness can you give me a couple of advantages to using a Swiss exercise ball?

As the abs or your core is very important to the golf swing, they also play a very important role in everyday life as well as your overall health. Whether sitting or standing, your core muscles play a large roll in your posture in everyday life. Strengthening these core muscles will take an amount of the work load off of your back which in turn will decrease the probability for a back injury.

Core Stability
Core stability exercises can enhance your body’s mobility and flexibility. A bridge between mind and body is created while working these particularly designed exercise moves. Being able to get in-tune with your body can only promote, not hinder, your overall health.

The results are lean, well-defined muscles. Any exercise performed with the ball ensures efficiency which means your workouts will produce better results quickly.

The benefits to using the Swiss exercise ball are vast. The feeling of working out is replaced with a sense of play and the results are amazing. You don’t need to be an expert to perform the moves designed for the ball which allows beginners and advanced users to enjoy the ball equally. The Swiss exercise ball is versatile and valuable despite its inexpensive price tag.

How To Find A Golf Exercise Book

I am looking to really improve my golf fitness this winter and would like to know if you could recommend how to go about finding a golf exercise book that would help me reach my goals. Is there anything specific that I should look for or avoid in my search? I am middle-aged male and admittedly I am currently not in the best physical shape so I cannot start with a rigorous golf workout program. I would like to attack this project this winter to improve my golf game and my overall health. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Golf exercise books are written to give you ready-made golf fitness programs, exercises, step-by-step instructions and illustrations can quickly transform your body and your golf game. So then the questions become: what are the components of a complete golf fitness book and what areas should a golf fitness book should cover? Basically, golf exercise books should cover the following four topics:

1. Golf strength specific exercises
2. Golf flexibility
3. Aerobic conditioning or endurance training for golf
4. Golf nutrition

Keep in mind that all four of these topics should be golf specific and designed for a golfer and not for a person looking to just improve their overall physical fitness. The golf exercise book that you choose to improve your golf and fitness should offer multiple plans for different physical fitness levels. In addition, the book should have a golf fitness evaluation in the book to determine your current golf fitness level and ultimately decide on the starting point for your golf exercise program. Using this type of book, you are sure that the golf fitness program or golf exercises you are using are right for you and the program will help your game not hurt it.

Golf Fitness - Why Is It OK To Workout Now?

As I am watching the PGA Tour players get stronger and stronger and what seems bigger and bigger through golf fitness, I thought that golfers did not need strength training. I as started the game it was ridiculous to think about using golf fitness techniques or more specifically lifting weights to improve your golf game. You would literally be made fun of if anyone knew what you were attempting to improve your golf game through golf fitness. What has changed to make the "experts" change their minds?

To answer your question of what has changed is simple. I can answer that in just one word, technology. With the science that can now be applied to golf fitness and the golf swing, PGA Professionals as well as golf fitness experts have much more information at their disposal. You also see this happening in all major sports such as football, basketball and tennis.

Flexibility, balance, stability, strength, endurance, and power are all required skills that are needed to perform an efficient golf swing. Your body is the support of your golf swing. You can imagine each as a beam in a foundation for a building. Some beams may bear more weight than others however, they all combine to come up with one of two outcomes, the building will stay up or the building will fall. You are limiting your potential if you do not have the golf strength but do have flexibility, balance and the other factors. You can see it while walking up and down any practice facility. Golfers are struggling to make "the perfect move" because they are limited by their body and hard as they try they just can not make it happen. A weighted practice club can help you with your strength, flexibility, balance and stability and get you closer to performing the correct golf swing mechanics.

Golf Exercises - What Should I Do?

As we are getting ready to turn colder in the northern part of the country, I am basically regulated to doing golf exercises to stay in touch with my golf for a few months. What are the golf exercises that I should be doing?

Golf exercises such as balance exercises are beneficial to the golf swing. Knowing the importance of balance in the golf swing, how can we train our body for better balance during our golf swing? A discussion with any top teaching professional will eventually lead to a discussion of balance. You must be balanced at address, the top of your golf swing, through impact and during your finish position. What is balance? Balance is the ability to control your body through a specific movement pattern or your golf swing. In relation to your body, balance has to do with the connection between your nerves and muscles. As a result of messages sent from your brain, your nervous system tells your muscles how to move to maintain the body's balance. The more efficient your nerves and muscles are to these messages, the greater balance abilities the body develops. Balance exercises train both the nervous system and muscular system to create a more efficient golf swing. There are many golf swing aids that will help you with your balance during your golf swing.

Of course, the muscles of your body move through a very specific range of motion and are utilized to keep your balance during your golf swing. Your body needs certain levels of strength and endurance to perform these actions. A good working definition of strength for us to use is the ability of the muscles to exert force for the given athletic action. Endurance is the ability of your muscles to do the same activity over and over again for a specific amount of time. A weighted club such as The Golfgym Club 38 or The Golfgym Club 28 will help you build muscle as well as a repeatable swing.

Golf Fitness Program

As the technology has improved in the golf industry as well as the fitness industry over the last few years, the research that has been done on a complete a golf fitness program allows us to look at a golf swing and its parts much differently now than just a few years ago. Many golf courses and country clubs have added a golf fitness program to their year-round programming.

Many of our students would like to start a golf fitness program that they can accomplish at their house and ask us where they should focus their golf fitness program.

Much of the success of a consistent golf swing is dependent on your core muscles. A great way to improve your core muscles is through golf fitness program that provides resistance. Resistance training means that your body gets used to working against an added pressure or pull. When you get use to performing a certain action or motion with resistance, then removing that resistance makes the act far easier, and adds power to your stroke. Resistance cords help you strengthen almost all of your upper body muscles involved in your swing, including chest, back, torso, rotator cuffs, shoulders, and even hips. You may also consider using a medicine ball to achieve simple yet beneficial strengthening of the core muscles through twisting and flexibility.

The core muscles are some of the most essential muscles to the game of golf, which is why so many golf fitness programs focus on core training or balance training. Balance training strengthens your core muscles all together because it requires you to use your stomach and back to maintain proper alignment. Balance balls and balance discs offer a variety of positions and exercises that strengthen your balance and, therefore, your core muscles, which can greatly improve the accuracy and distance your swing can achieve.

Golf Fitness Workout - Why You Need Strong Glutes

Even though many good amateur and professional players now follow a strict golf fitness workout program, many still complain about back pain. Obviously, this can be due to several different things. However, many men suffer from tight hamstrings and weak glute muscles. With tight hamstrings and weak glute muscles, your back must support the upper body during the rotation of the golf swing. The upper body is just not made to make this type of rotational motion and over time will result in back pain. Add the below exercises to your golf fitness workout to strengthen your glute muscles.

THE BACK STEP LUNGE : Start with you standing with your feet together. Keep your chest out and your abs tight and do not slouch forward. Place your hands on your hips or by your sides if you are not using extra weight. Step backward with your left leg. Bend both your knees until your left knee is nearly touching the floor. Your right shin should remain in a straight line with your ankle perpendicular to the floor. Pull yourself forward using the right leg until you're in the standing position again, squeeze your glutes. Then swap legs and perform the exercise again stepping back with your right leg. Remember to stay tight and watch your balance.

BRIDGE WITH AN EXERCISE BALL – Lie down with your back on the floor. Place your feet on an exercise ball with your legs in line with you heels on the exercise ball, you’re your arms across your chest. Keep your legs extended, and thrust up with your hips. Your glutes as well as your hamstrings should be active. Hold this position for five seconds and return your hips to the floor. Depending on your fitness level, do 10 to 15 reps for a set. In addition, place your hands over your head as opposed to across your chest for a variation of the exercise.

Golf Fitness Program - Does Walking Matter?

David Fay on walking during a round of golf, "We strongly believe that walking is the most enjoyable way to play golf and that the use of carts is detrimental to the game. This negative trend needs to be stopped now before it becomes accepted that riding in a cart is the way to play golf."

Walking is the most fundamental part of all golf exercise programs. With this in mind, it makes sense that walking a golf course with a push cart instead of riding in a golf cart would help you to achieve your programs goals. Over the years, there has been much discussion on whether the start and stopping that happens during a round of golf and not all of it has been positive. These people will argue that even with using a push cart, this exercise is not beneficial to your golf even with using a push cart, this exercise is not beneficial to your golf exercise program.

These people must hang out in their lab coats all day and never leave the office or lab. Let's think about this for just a second. In walking an eighteen whole round of golf, you basically are taking a 4-5 mile walk. Hmmm. Not beneficial to a golf exercise program, huh? Keep in mind that most golf courses have many elevation changes up and down and you have extra weight on your back if you choose to carry your golf clubs. The Web site WalkingGolf.com states, "According to Golf Science International, researcher Gi Magnusson calculates that four hours of playing golf (walking) is comparable to a 45-minute fitness class."

Those of you who have walked eighteen holes before know that the round of golf is a different experience than when you ride from shot to shot. Not to sound funny but walking a course gets you closer to the golf course. Not only do I realize the golf exercise benefits of walking a golf course but I have also found that I am able to learn more about a golf course that I have walked as opposed to those that I ride. Walking with a push cart allows you to gain an appreciation for the nuances of a golf course that just are not visible from a golf cart. This is an advantage if this happens prior to a tournament round and it adds to my golf exercise program.

Golf Fitness Equipment - What You Need

Are you looking to become a stronger, more accurate golfer? Golf fitness equipment just might be the missing link in your golf game. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes, but no practice was ever complete without exercise to back it up and make your motions stronger. What’s great about golf is that the sport has become increasingly athletic. The more we learn about the intricacies of a swing, the more specialized your exercise can become. When you work specific muscles that you know will improve your game, you are sure to be a stronger and more successful golfer in practice and in play.

The core muscles are essential to the game of golf. When you swing, the way your body turns depends on your core muscles. Golf fitness equipment has therefore been tailored to increase strength, flexibility, and range of motion for this important part of your body. Balance balls and discs are an excellent way to strengthen these muscles. Many people also use medicine balls (which are quite popular in all areas of exercise, not just for golfers) because of their many benefits to strengthen the core muscles as well as the arms.

To work on your upper body strength, which actually includes everything from your hips to your shoulders, you may want to consider resistance training with resistance cords. These simple cords can help you strengthen not only your hips and shoulder blades, but your arms, rotator cuffs, stomach, and back as well. The stronger these parts are, the easier your swing will be when you head back to the course.

And one of the most exciting developments in golf exercise is the amount of golf fitness equipment that can be used in a golf-specific workout. A product like the GolfGym Powerswing Trainer uses golf-specific exercises and techniques to helps strengthen the muscles your game needs most. These developments make it easier than ever for golfers to strengthen their muscles, and thus their whole game, in the comfort of their own home.

Golf Fitness - Do You Really Know What Golf Strength Is?

As so many of us kick around the term golf fitness, what does the term golf strength really mean? Typically, golf strength is used to describe the golf fitness level of an individual as they attempt to swing a golf club. However, many people do not understand that this type of strength is different from just conventional weight room strength. As I have seen time and time again while teaching, just because someone is muscle-bound this does not automatically equate into long straight golf shots. Typically, these players become frustrated fairly quickly because they are used to just dominating whatever they are trying to do.

As Tiger Woods brought golf fitness into the game, it would do him no good at all or anyone else for that matter if they do not have the flexibility and balance to compliment it. You can see it in action any Saturday morning while walking up and down any practice facility in the world. Golfers are struggling to make “the perfect swing” but because they are limited by their body. No matter how hard they try, they just cannot physically make it happen. A weighted practice club can help you with your strength, flexibility, balance and stability and get you closer to performing the correct golf swing mechanics.

Do You Know What Golf Strength Really Is?

What does the term golf strength really mean? Golf strength is used to describe the golf fitness level of an individual pertaining to swinging a golf club. This type of strength is different from conventional weight room strength. Just because someone is muscle-bound this does not automatically equate into good golf. You can see this during a televised celebrity tournament. The big bulky football players are not the players that are winning the golf tournaments.

Golf instruction today has become so mechanical. Even to the point that some instructors teach how to golf swing as opposed to how to play golf. Many of the characteristics of the golf swing are dependent of each other. What does that mean? A new golfer wants a .quick fix. and thinks that since their buddy's lesson was about ball position that it must be what will help them. This is just not true. Ball position is only one part of the equation as is balance, stability, flexibility, strength, and endurance.

To hit the 300 yard drive or your personal best, you must understand that proper golf strength levels and efficient golf swing mechanics. These two variables are dependent on each other. For example, perfect golf swing mechanics without strength or power can get you a straight but very short shot. In turn, with high strength levels and no swing mechanics, you may hit the golf ball a very long way but have no idea where it is going due to poor golf swing mechanics.

A weighted practice club can help address many of these issues at the same time can help you keep your golf fitness. You will want to swing the weighted practice iron or driver at full speed as well as a very slow speed. The slower speed will help build strength as the faster swing will help increase flexibility.

Where Should I Concentrate My Golf Excercise?

You walk into your local health club and wonder "Where should I concentrate my golf exercises?" Some people are so intimidated by all the muscle-heads walking around they sometimes just turn around and walk out of the gym! If you are strong enough mentally to stay what are you supposed to work on? Should you run/walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes? Should you push out a couple sets of bench presses? The answer to these questions really are answered with your body and your current golf swing.

We now know better than ever what is required of the body to produce a proper golf swing due to the newer video cameras and other golf swing technology now available. Given this new information, we can develop what the best exercises for your golf swing. This will improve your golf game quicker than ever before!

With the new golf swing technology, we have learned that the entire body must move through certain ranges of motion to perform an effective golf swing. If your body is not able to move through the required ranges of motion of the golf swing, the golf swing will produce a shot that is not desirable. Flexibility exercises that work the muscles used during the golf swing are good for all golfers. This means that flexibility exercises should be on the top of your list.

To produce a desirable golf shot, you must be balanced at address, the top of your golf swing, through impact as well as during your finish position. What is balance? Balance is the ability to control your body through a specific movement pattern or your golf swing. In relation to your body, balance has to do with the connection between your nerves and muscles. As a result of messages sent from your brain, your nervous system tells your muscles how to move to maintain the body's balance. Balance exercises train both the nervous system and muscular system to create a more efficient golf swing. There are many golf swing aids that will help you with your balance during your golf swing. A weighted club such as The Golfgym Club 38 or The Golfgym Club 28 will help you build muscle as well as a repeatable swing.

VGS ships from different locations throughout the US allows us to service you in timely manner no matter where you live such as Philadelphia PA, Huntsville AL, Kansas City MO, Milwaukee WI , Durham NC and Baton Rouge LA. Crosstrak S3 Pushcart By Izzo

Enjoy the benefits of walking during your next round of golf with this light, smooth rolling and easy to break down for trunk storage Crosstrak pushcart.

Three benefits of walking the golf course with a push cart while you play include:

Controlling your blood pressure - Physical activity strengthens the heart so it can pump more blood with less effort and with less pressure on the arteries. Staying fit is just as effective as some medications in keeping down blood pressure levels.

Managing your weight - Combined with healthy eating, physical activity is key to any plan for long-lasting weight control. Keeping your weight within healthy limits can lower your risks of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, sleep apnea, and osteoarthritis.

Decreasing your risk of heart attack. Exercise such as brisk walking for three hours a week — or just half an hour a day — is associated with a 30% to 40% lower risk of heart disease in women. (Based on the 20-year Nurses' Health Study of 72,000 female nurses.)

You can increase you exercise routine by using a push cart and walking while you play golf. Even if you walk nine and ride nine that is better than where you were! To help with your golf bag you can use a golf push cart.

The benefits of the Crosstrak S3 Pushcart are:
· New, maintenance-free, off-road tires for easy rolling
· Lightweight, aluminum frame for easy handling
